Ceide Fields

Ceide Fields is a neolithic site on the atlantic coast of Ireland. The area contains remains of a large structure of stone walls that served to keep live stock, as well as other structures amongst which the Behy burial tomb. Today the site is covered with a thick layer of bog that is the result of climate change due to the deforestation and use of the area during the neolithic period. This impression displays the cremation of a deceased famile member, in front of the behy tomb.
